· Course-coordinator may be contacted for details such as training programme dates, venue, programme contents, level of participants, course fee and its payment etc.

· Admission to the course will be restricted to 20 participants on First-Come-First-Served basis. Participants are not allowed to attend the training course without written confirmation by the course-coordinator.

· Limited Hostel Accomodation on sharing and chargeable basis will be available on 'First-Come-First-Served’ basis

ABOUT DGFASLI

Directorate General Factory Advice Service & Labour Institutes (DGFASLI), is a multi disciplinary technical arm of the Government of India under Ministry of Labour & Employment to assist the Ministry in formulating national policies on Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) and advise State Governments and factories on matters concerning safety, health & welfare of workers in factories & docks. DGFASLI carries out its functions through Central Labour Institute, Mumbai, four Regional Labour Institutes at Kanpur, Kolkata, Chennai, Faridabad and Inspectorates of Dock Safety at eleven major ports in the country.

We envision to emerge as an organization of excellence in creating knowledge, formulating policies, standards and practices to ensure safe and healthy workplaces for all in factories and ports.

MISSION

Our Mission is to disseminate our expertise in occupational safety and health for evolving safe and healthy workplaces in factories and ports through a process of partnership, guidance, information sharing and regulatory activities.

In pursuit of achieving the mission, DGFASLI conducts consultancy studies/surveys/ audits/in-plant training programmes on companies’ requests, renders other OSH advices and conducts public training programmes at Institutes’ premises. It also conducts longer duration educational courses viz. one-year full time diploma course in industrial safety, three-month Associate Fellow of Industrial Health (AFIH) course for medical practitioners and one-month certificate course for supervisory personnel working in hazardous process industries. Besides, this organization conducts seminars/workshops of national importance and operates National Safety Awards (NSA), Vishwakarma Rashtriya Puraskar Awards (VRP) and assists Ministry in Prime Minister’s Shram Awards (PMSA) scheme.
